Following demands for a formal apology from regional leaders, including Hon. Brandon Kintu, Alien Skin has instead doubled down on his controversial stance, presenting the people of Busoga with a choice between "peace or chaos" within a 24-hour window.
The friction began after the singer, born Patrick Mulwana, made remarks that were widely perceived as a direct insult to the cultural heritage of the region. He famously claimed he would only consider "forgiving" Busoga if he were allowed to take over the office of the Kyabazinga and rule for a fortnight. In his most recent address, Alien Skin escalated the rhetoric further, asserting that he is "bigger than the entire Busoga region" and suggesting his status is comparable to that of the President.
