Lydia Jazmine Insists There's Never Been Tension with Rema Namakula.
Singer Lydia Jazmine has revealed that there has never been any bad blood between her and fellow singer Rema Namakula as portrayed in the media.
Lydia Jazmine made the revelation during a YouTube podcast, where she reflected on a time when Rema Namakula and Eddy Kenzo were romantically involved.
She also addressed claims that she was secretly involved with Kenzo, allegations that reportedly caused a rift between the two women.
The singer dismissed the allegations, deeming them false and baseless and denying the said feud with Rema, emphasizing that it was fueled by the fans who kept creating false narratives around the situation.
“I do not have any problem with Rema Namakula. Fans know how to create a feud between the artists, and I have seen it so many times. It hurts a lot. Even when they are not close or hang out together, it is possible for them not to have bad blood between them. From the bottom of my heart, I have never beefed with her; I do not know from her side but me, never. Even when I was still at school, I used to mime her songs,” she said.
She explained that Eddy Kenzo was among the very first people who believed, encouraged, and guided her when she had just started her career; that is why she held him in high regard. Jazmine revealed that the rumors started spreading after she constantly talked about Kenzo for how much he had helped her.
“I used to speak about Eddy Kenzo so much but I decided to stop doing it because people were insinuating things. He has been my friend for years up to now. Every time I have a problem I can easily tell him. The person I first consulted before I became what I am, was Eddy Kenzo. He is one person I respect so much and he never does anything wrong. He has always been there, guided me and he is my friend respectfully. That is all,” she said.
